  Based upon all these inflated comments I choose Alta Sierra Clinic...It may have cost my dear dog to loose what precious little time he had left.... If your pet is critically ill or a Senior in need of compassionate palliative care I would not recommend this facility. My dear 12 year old was vomiting so I took him to this clinic. After $370 in basic tests, I was told simply "you need to put this dog down, or check him into the hospital" (for up to $3000 ). I really thought all he needed was Antibiotics. And was not prepared for the shocking Terminal Prognosis of less than 3 weeks to live. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and wasn't sure I fully comprehended the magnitude of what was being said. He died exactly 3 weeks later at home, instead of in a cold strange hospital away from his family. Had he been treated he may have lived longer, or perhaps not....I was not given any Clear answers at the clinic after multiple questions regarding his care and chances of survival with kidney failure...a lil true compassion and better explanation of options would have been appreciated under the truly shocking circumstances, especially for a new patient with a loving purebred pet...RIP my dear Boy, if only I had known than what I know now...
